Role Overview Our Millwrights play an important role in providing emergency and preventative maintenance to our manufacturing equipment and machinery. Within our 400,000 square feet manufacturing facility, we have over 8,000 pieces of equipment and machinery including galvanizing lines, wiredraw machines, mesh machines, nail machines, packing lines. You will get on-going exposure to a wide range of machinery. This role requires membership in the Teamsters Union, Local 213. What's In It For You Job Stability with a longstanding Company Guaranteed Hours Competitive Wages Opportunity for Overtime Comprehensive Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental) Retirement - Matching RRSP Endless Learning Opportunities (Tuition Reimbursement Program) Safety Footwear Reimbursement Exciting Company Social Events Main Responsibilities Provide maintenance to our manufacturing equipment and machinery Preventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments) Rebuild/repair gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, prime movers, and hoists Reduce unplanned breakdowns and increase planned and preventative initiatives Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery Compensation Base Pay: $46.82 per hour plus applicable premiums Overtime rate is double Premiums: Tool Premium $0.20 per hour Shift Premium: Afternoon $0.65 per hour, Graveyard $0.70 per hour Tuesday to Saturday Shift Premium: $0.70 per hour Sunday to Thursday Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour Possible Shifts Monday – Friday (Day, Afternoon, or Graveyard) Tuesday – Saturday (Day) Sunday – Thursday (Day) Why Tree Island?
