Full Job Description A leading financial services company is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, drive customer growth and retention, and lead a high-performing team. This role also involves launching and scaling a new branch, managing financial performance, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure transactional accuracy, efficiency, and security.
- Develop and enforce company policies, procedures, and compliance standards (AML, KYC, and regulatory reporting).
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies to support business growth.
- Manage budgets, monitor P&L, and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Lead and mentor both back-office and front-end teams, setting clear performance metrics.
- Plan, set up, and successfully launch a second branch location.
- Maintain robust security and risk management practices to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within financial services or other regulated industries.
- Proven experience handling high-volume transactions, compliance processes, and branch expansion.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and process improvement skills.
- Proficiency in ERP, CRM, compliance tools, and operational dashboards.
