About the role
What You'll Do:
Packaging:
- Perform product change overs, packaging sanitation and equipment sanitation
- Track packaging materials for usage/loss rates and maintaining packaging logs
- Perform quality control checks and ensure product is in proper condition
- Ensure packaging machines are in running condition involving basic cleaning and maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting
- Report large or complex problems to the Bottling and Packaging Supervisor
Compliance:
- Ensuring all legislated and company issued policies are followed (WSIB, GMP, WHMIS, etc.)
- Actively participate in Health & Safety Programs and ensure all required PPE is worn at all times while in the production facility
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor as required
- Other duties as assigned when not operating equipment
