As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will help mature the area of Technical Training performance measurement and analytics to develop incremental value for the organization. This role provides all reporting and analysis business intelligence to Enbridge Gas Ontario Technical Training for the tracking, evaluation and continuous improvement of training offered to employees. This role uses specific expertise in Data Analytics, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint training content management.
What You Will Do
- Build, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain applications using Power Apps
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure that Power BI solutions meet organizational needs.
- Perform analysis within Power BI to identify trends, patterns, and correlations between different variables.
- Engage with business departments to analyze, compare, and standardize key performance measures, ensuring alignment and consistency in reporting across the organization.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify and measure factors impacting Technical Training efficiency and address key business challenges.
- Establish and monitor scorecards and performance dashboard metrics to ensure incremental progress towards Technical Training excellence.
- Collaborate with a network of subject matter experts across the Enterprise specializing in data analytics.
- Independently initiate analysis and data auditing initiatives to ensure records integrity and resolve issues throughout the Technical Training processes.
- Support team members in managing training content for technical training.
- Work together with collaborators from all levels of the business to build, measure, and validate reporting for key performance indicators.
Who You Are
- Related university degree with 7+ years of experience OR equivalent combination of education, certification and experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Strong report development and data modelling skills.
- Ability to synthesize large amount of business data and derive insights and recommendations.
- Ability to identify innovative reporting solutions to enhance business effectiveness and efficiency.
- Expertise in Power Apps & Power BI for crafting interactive reports and dashboards.
- Strong ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Working Conditions

- Minimal travel to surrounding offices
