About the role

We are seeking a talented, energetic student to join the Product Development, Testing & Compliance team in our Milton Office location as a Product Development Specialist Co-Op. Duration for this role would be for 8 months (January 2026 - August 2026).

Join us and make a difference! What you will be doing : The role is based out of our Head Office in Milton, ON and reports to the Product Compliance Manager. As a member of the ROCKWOOL Product Development, Testing & Compliance team, you will be responsible for taking on exciting technical projects and initiatives for the duration of the co-op term. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Development, Testing & Compliance team to assist in the development of technical resources and tools.

Main job tasks :

  • Collect and analyze current engineering data relevant to the North American insulation market.
  • Analyze test data to identify trends and develop tools that will enable the extension of existing data to new products and applications.
  • Establish a centralized library of existing test data and engineering reports, and identify any gaps.
  • Help maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring it remains accurate, relevant, and accessible.
  • Perform other assigned tasks, giving you exposure to a broad and enriching range of experiences.

At the end of your co-op term, you will have the opportunity to present your contributions to your fellow students and ROCKWOOL management.

What you bring :

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program (e.g., Engineering, Building Science, Environmental Science, or related field).
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Previous co-op or internship experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to track and manage multiple priorities
