Summary The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. Bell Media is actively seeking a forward-thinking Finance Analyst to spearhead the strategic integration and optimization of artificial intelligence within its core financial Advertising Revenues operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming financial workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making across all financial processes through the application of AI technologies. The candidate will also play and instrumental role in advertising sales reporting and tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions tailored for optimizing current manual financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and transaction analysis.
- Champion the adoption of financial process automation, utilizing AI, to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual errors, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal finance and business intelligence partners to define requirements, integrate AI tools, and ensure the deployment of automated financial solutions.
- Establish financial reporting frameworks, utilizing visualization techniques to communicate financial status, performance metrics, and AI-driven outcomes effectively.
- Other financial responsibilities include revenue, revenue share and expense tracking, reporting and variance analysis
Critical Qualifications
- Strong project management capabilities, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of financial initiatives.
- Possession of strong leadership qualities, enabling the effective guidance and motivation of finance teams through periods of transformation and change management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and comfortable working with ambiguity
- Autonomous and disciplined self-starter who can work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
- 3-5 years of financial/accounting experience
- Experience in financial reporting, tracking and variance analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting workflows. Accounting designation or working towards
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of SAP and BPC
- Good understanding of the broadcasting/media industry
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
