Job Description

As our Inbound Sales Representative, you will be responsible for handling all incoming sales-related calls and inquiries. Every day, you will sell to various customer demographics, ranging from existing to new clients, with a strong focus on tailoring the right solution to meet our customers' needs. Team members are a vital part of our culture, and we continually rely on them for their contributions and feedback. To thrive in this role, you must learn to adapt and connect with diverse customer demographics, as well as gain a deeper understanding of how different businesses operate.

*This is a 4-month contract that can extend into a permanent position*

***Hybrid: 3 days per week in our downtown Toronto or Vancouver office.***

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage conversations with prospective accounts (incoming phone calls and web chats)to build relationships.

  • Determine needs for the Sage 50 product and upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

  • Meet or exceed the defined monthly sales quota.

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of sales opportunities.

  • Manage time appropriately to ensure that SPE productivity standards and KPIs are met regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking.

  • Preferred- 1-year experience in B2B sales, value-based solution sales, telemarketing, outbound sales, inbound sales, account management, or business development in the high-tech or SaaS industry.

  • Experience in MS Office Suite, Word and Excel, MS Outlook, Fusion Order Entry, and CRM tools like Salesforce.

  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.

The compensation will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.

For this role, in those locations, the target salary range + OTE (on target earnings with commission) for new hires is $44,400 to $74,000.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific opportunities in our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package.
