Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As a Quality Control Inspector, your main duty is to ensure Arc’teryx brand integrity by performing quality control inspection on the products and/or raw materials used and produced at the Arc’teryx owned manufacturing facility (ARC’One). Your main duties are to perform in-line quality inspections, water leakage test, raw material inspections and to collaborate within the quality and production teams to troubleshoot quality issues.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Manufacturing Quality Control team ensures that all product manufactured at ARC’One meets the quality standards and expectations of Arc’teryx. Our core duty is to ensure a positive customer experience and uphold the integrity of the brand.

If you were our Quality Control Inspector, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • You become familiar with Arc’teryx product specifications, including samples, testing methods, and Arc’teryx Quality Control manual and learn how to apply them to an inspection
    • You perform water leakage test in the production line you are assigned
    • You perform in-line inspection for workmanship and defects according to our Company standards
    • You efficiently perform quality inspections to meet daily production targets
    • You record inspection results and complete all documentations in a timely manner
    • You notify appropriate supervisors if/when any discrepancies are found between approved samples and production results
    • You work with the operators, team leaders, and supervisors to resolve quality issues
    • You participate in projects and other tasks as assigned, including but not limited to 5S and other housekeeping

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

    • Performing inline quality control inspection on a wide array of products including waterproof and non-waterproof garments, harnesses, technical packs, and more
    • Performing quality control inspection on raw materials and pre-production processes
    • Performing quality control inspection in a down filling room environment

Are you our next Quality Control Inspector?

    • You have previous experience in the quality control and/or the garment industry
    • You have accurate colour acuity
    • You have basic English verbal and written communication skills
    • You have high attention to detail
    • You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team
    • You have excellent organizational skills and flexibility
    • You have basic computer knowledge with the ability to operate a tablet and simple data entry
    • You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situation with tact and professionalism
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
    • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
    • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment

Assets:

    • You have basic knowledge of a spoken second language
    • You have knowledge of Arc’teryx’s unique products
    • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

$21 - $23 an hour

The starting pay for distribution workers is CAD $21.00 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD$21.00- $23.00 within 12 months upon skill assessment.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
