Supervisor – Temporary 6 Months
Lethbridge Family Services (LFS) is seeking a supervisor to join our team in Home Services! This position contributes to the delivery of quality client care through the support and supervision of a team of health care aides.

Supervisors:
-
supervise workers: communicate job expectations to develop positive worker outcomes, plan, monitor, and assess job results, conduct annual performance evaluations, provide coaching or progressive discipline to improve job performance,
-
ensure that services are provided in a manner that respects diversity and inclusion,
-
conduct field visits with health care aides, clients, and clinical care coordinators,
-
support schedulers with scheduling duties and problem-solve complex scheduling challenges, and
-
deploy necessary resources to ensure that all shifts are covered, and quality client care is delivered.
Required skills and qualifications:
-
a degree or diploma with a major in business administration, health care administration, nursing, or practical nursing. Current, active registration with a professional licensing body (CLPNA, CARNA) is considered an asset,
-
a minimum of 5 years of experience in the health care field (experience as a health care aide is considered an asset),
-
excellent organizational and administrative skills, and
-
excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
All new employees of LFS must provide a police information check and vulnerable sector check dated not less than 90 days prior to the date of hire.
Hours: 35 hours per week – including days, evenings, and weekends
Number of positions available: 1, temporary 6 months
