Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (CAD)

Job Description
How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a Financial Analyst in Sodexo’s Campus Division, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations, reporting, and analysis. You’ll collaborate with finance teams and unit managers to provide insights that drive business decisions, ensure accurate reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple Higher Education accounts.
As a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Work closely with Campus Canada Finance to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
- Participate in the annual budgeting process by providing accurate data and KPI information
- Providing weekly financial information & analysis for Sodexo Unit Managers
- Oversee and direct of period close process
- Collect, consolidation, and create weekly operating reports
- Provide required information to support GM requiring detailed variance analysis and interpretation of trends to budget, prior year and forecast by service line.
- Compile on a weekly basis key result indicators required for business analysis that helps Sodexo and our client understand business trends
- Data reconciliation and audit support
- Manage AR and AP process
- Provide remote support to 2 other Higher Education Sodexo accounts
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
-
College degree in business analytics, finance, or related field
-
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial department role including AR, AP and financial reporting management.
-
Strong analytical skill set with spreadsheet modeling experience
-
Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written), using sound judgement, quick learner, and the ability to adapt and pivot to new situations
-
Experience facilitating change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of analytics
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, exercise independent judgment, work on own initiative and on multiple projects simultaneously
-
Advanced Excel and Data base programs.
