What you’ll do:
Our accounts payable administrator will work within the accounting team to ensure that invoices and expenses are paid in a timely manner and recorded properly. Using our accounting software and Microsoft programs you will ensure that cheque and payment runs are completed accurately.
- Process all required manual cheques
- Reconcile Canadian and US credit cards
- Record and organize accounts payable invoices in an effective manner, ensuring all vendor payments are made on time
- Report and track staff allowances and expenses
- Take on other responsibilities as asked to support the administrative team
Requirements
What you bring:
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office as well as accounting softwares
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- A post-secondary certificate with an accounting designation would be considered and asset
- Experience in agriculture or reception would be considered an asset
