About the role
Fairfield Animal Hospital located in gorgeous Kelowna, British Columbia is looking to add a residency trained veterinarian or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon to our outstanding fast-paced emergency hospital.
About Us We are the only 24-hour emergency clinic within Kelowna. Our goal is to grow into a specialty clinic to further support the needs of our community. Currently we have 9 ER DVMs, a contracted Internist and a highly trained team of veterinary technicians and assistants. With the addition of a surgeon, we can provide greater service to our clients and community.
Our Hospital Our beautiful modern hospital includes a CT, endoscopy, digital radiology and a blood bank. Our culture is a positive, respectful and uplifting and we genuinely love working with people that share that same value.
Our Location: Kelowna is known as the Napa Valley of Canada; this province is breathtaking and has numerous activities for all outdoor enthusiasts! On your days off in the summer you can lounge on the beach, in the fall visit one of the multiple wineries, and in the winter hit the slopes skiing or snowboarding.
Compensation We offer highly competitive compensation, annual CE and uniform allowance, a generous staff discount plan, paid membership dues and fees, paid vacation, and more.
