As a UKG Project Analyst, you will provide payroll, scheduling, and time administration expertise to support the analysis and development of interim solutions for pay-related processes. You will collaborate with business units, Payroll, and Information Technology (IT) to gather and document current state information and identify system and process gaps and opportunities. Through structured engagement and analysis, you will contribute to the development of recommendations that improve operational efficiency, support standardized practices, and ensure alignment with legislative and organizational requirements. Primary duties include: Analyze payroll, scheduling, and time administration processes to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process standardization and improved service delivery. Collect and document current pain points through engagements with the business units and their respective departments and with the Pay & Client Services team. Act as a trusted advisor to the project team by supporting the long-term goals and provide input into improvements. Identify and translate findings to the Business Project Lead, areas of improvement on system functionality and best practices related to time and pay processes. Foster strong and collaborative relationships with clients, leaders, business unit timekeepers, IT and Payroll.
Qualifications
A Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation through the National Payroll Institute and at least 5 years of progressive and directly related experience working in payroll. Advanced understanding of workforce management, common payroll, time and attendance, and business best practices. Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) and Telestaff is preferred. Experience with Peoplesoft Human Capital Management (HCM). Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). The ability to apply knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and payroll best practices to support scheduling and time administration. The ability to contribute solution ideas and explore the potential and impacts of those solutions. Strong communication, collaboration, and engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and work effectively across teams.
