Job Summary:

Serpa Motorsports, part of The Serpa Automotive Group and proud 3-Time Yamaha Elite Dealer, is seeking a skilled and motivated Controller to join our growing team. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements for our Yamaha & Suzuki powersports and marine operations.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in finance/accounting, with the ability to manage dealership financials in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of finance/accounting experience (or equivalent knowledge of dealership operations).
• Experience with PBS a strong asset.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Manage daily banking reconciliation.
• Prepare, analyze, and finalize monthly dealer financial statements.
• Monitor and review expense reports.
• Post and maintain monthly standard entries.
• Reconcile manufacturer rebates and incentive programs.
• Support bank audits alongside departmental managers.
• Process lien payouts and vehicle purchase payments.
• Oversee floorplan reports; manage vehicle payoff processes with bank representatives.
• Post deals for accurate commission and bonus calculations.
• Provide financial insights and reporting to ownership and management. Manage additional accounting duties as required.
