About the role

JOB PURPOSE
For our Customer Development team, we are looking for a Key Account Manager on the Metro Ontario Foods portfolios, responsible for all Metro Ontario banners. You will be responsible for consistent, competitive, profitable, and sustainable growth.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Establish strong relationships with customers

  • Develop the customer strategic business plan and deliver it internally and externally

  • Develop and implement optimal integrated promo plan (incl. selling the plan at the customer) and manage promo investment budgets

  • Manage the customer P&L and investment

  • Lead for the annual contracts with customers

  • Monitor Customer Performance by tracking customer contribution and market share for major categories

  • Function as an active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever

  • Work in close collaboration with the extended team members to find the best solutions for the business

  • Drive best practice sharing with the broader team

  • Manage the basic internal processes (Forecast, Pricing etc.) for the customer

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Minimum relevant professional commercial 1 to 3 years (marketing and/or Customer Development)

experience in sales and providing solutions

  • Able to work in cross functional teams. (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance)
  • Team player is essential
  • Strong consumer and customer focus / strong at customer contact.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships
  • Good negotiator: able to influence, also in informal decision structures.
  • Data driven business with owner’s mindset and creative entrepreneurial spirit
  • A person that easily connects, loves to embark on consulting assignments, and has high energy levels.
  • High capacity to prioritize and focus on meaningful deliverables
  • Strong organization skills
  • Act with Unilever’s standards of leadership; respect, responsibility, Integrity and pioneering

external Orientation (look outside Unilever; be innovative) an entrepreneurial drive.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Power Point

**Pay:**The pay range for this position is $84,900-$127,300. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

**Bonus:**This position is bonus eligible.

**Long-Term Incentive (LTI):**This position is LTI eligible.
