We’re looking for a Mill Sales Coordinator
to join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia . Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Some post-secondary education
in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience.

Strong written
and verbal communication
skills.
-
Experience providing positive customer experience , with proven relationship
and conflict management
skills.
-
Proven problem-solving
and critical thinking skills , with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge.
-
High level of ability in Outlook
(email management) and Excel
(formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
-
Strong understanding of general accounting principles .
-
Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure.
-
Experience using a sales system (AX or other) .
-
Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.

In this role, you will:

Gather, analyze , and communicate
product supply information to manage working capital and on-time shipment.

Work to achieve optimum value for Tolko by effectively utilizing
container capacity and rates .

Respond quickly
and proactively
to supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes.
-
Address
and suggest actionable changes
for product damages or claims for shipments.
-
Use problem-solving skills
to suggest changes to individual orders when required.
-
Create orders
and process all shipping and receiving
for reman and external purchases.
-
Balance
and reconcile inventory
at origin reloads.
-
Liaise with sales and agents closely on customer requirements.
