What You’ll Do
As a Roof Service Technician, you’ll assist with roof repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks on commercial buildings. You’ll work primarily with TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roofing systems, one of the cleanest and most efficient flat roofing materials. This role involves physical labor, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help inspect roofs for damage or leaks
- Assist with installing and repairing TPO roofing membranes
- Clean and maintain roof surfaces, remove debris, and apply sealants
- Support senior technicians with tools and materials
- Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear
- Travel to job sites, including out-of-town locations when required
What You Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in commercial roofing preferred
- Familiarity with TPO roofing is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid Working at Heights Certification
- Access to CSA-approved safety gear and basic tools
- Must be flexible with working hours and travel to job sites. Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
