What You’ll Be Doing Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various job sites Inspect vehicle before and after use to ensure safe and efficient operation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel Load, transport, and unload concrete while maintaining quality standards Complete delivery tickets and maintain accurate records of activities What We Are Looking For Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly Strong understanding of safety practices and willingness to follow procedures Effective communication and customer service skills Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment checks Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team Conditions of Employment Successful completion of a post-offer pre-employment physical examination Successful completion of a background check Work Environment This role operates primarily in environments that may include: Moving mechanical equipment Inclement weather conditions Heat, cold, and humidity Elevated noise levels What We Offer Hourly wage: $33.26 to $38.49 Secure, long-term employment Competitive wage and benefits package Training and development opportunities Opportunities for career advancement Overtime available Heidelberg Materials welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
