We continuously evolve our business structure to improve the way we operate our Whitehorse Liquor Store, central warehouse and five rural community Liquor Stores in Dawson City, Faro, Haines Junction, Mayo, and Watson Lake. The opportunity…
This position is responsible for directing and managing the operation and maintenance of all aspects of the Yukon Liquor Corporation’s 50,000 square foot central warehouse, which includes directing and controlling the receipt, warehousing, shipping, distribution and safe keeping of approximately 2,000 different liquor and cannabis products.
This role will supervise the Assistant Warehouse Manager, Warehouse staff, and Sales and Distribution staff who are responsible for all product shipments destined to 6 Yukon Liquor Corporation (YLC) retail stores, 150 licensed establishments, music festivals, beer festivals, wine festivals, and other permitted special events.

Essential Qualifications
- Recent extensive experience managing a large warehouse, including overseeing the receiving, distributing, and maintaining product inventory.
- Recent extensive experience leading, managing and supporting entry-level warehouse workers.
- Considerable experience briefing senior management on warehouse operations, including challenges and continuous improvements.
- Considerable experience drafting contracts and managing contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related is an asset
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
