How You’ll Make an Impact
- Welcome new patients with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
- Review the patient’s health and medical history and determine their goals for treatment.
- Assist in the orthodontic examination, entering data and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor taking appropriate notes in the patient’s chart.
- Review the treatment plan with the patient and use the available tools to educate them on the available options. (Videos, power-point, pictures, etc.).
- Work with the patient and/or responsible party to design financial payment plans that work for them and help our patients attain the beautiful smile they’ve always wanted.
- Generate correspondence (reports) from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist or other specialists.
- Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
- Act as a liaison between the doctor and any other dental specialists or general practitioners.
- Complete monthly reports on key performance metrics.
- Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.
The Teammate We’re Looking For
- Orthodontic experience, minimum 2 years.
- Previous experience working in professional sales considered an asset.
- Experience as a Treatment Coordinator is considered an asset.
- Comfortable with computers, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent writing skills: comfortable writing correspondence, mindful of grammar and spelling.
