Salary: $59,500 - $83,300 IMT Precision does not use artificial intelligence, automated screening systems, or algorithm-based decision tools in any part of the hiring process for this position. All applications are reviewed by human reviewers.

Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment activities to support the organization’s workforce growth across skilled trades, production, engineering, technical, and professional roles. This role plays a critical part in building strong talent pipelines, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with hiring leaders across the organization to support workforce planning, recruitment strategy, and employer branding initiatives that align with IMT Precision’s long-term growth objectives.

About You At our company, we are looking for exceptional individuals who can meet the following criteria:

  • Manage Multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and external partners
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through proactive sourcing
  • Adapt recruitment strategies to evolving workforce needs
  • Represent the organization professionally in community and recruitment initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive candidate information

Education & Experience

  • Education:

  • Human Resources Certificate required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field considered a strong asset.

  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation considered an asset.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.

  • Experience recruiting within manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated success sourcing for skilled trades, technical, and production roles.

  • Experience managing high-volume recruitment processes.

  • Experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

  • Technical Requirements:

  • Full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.

  • Talent sourcing techniques including LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, and networking channels.

  • Workforce planning and talent pipeline development.

  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; familiarity with ADP Workforce Now considered an asset.

  • Recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.

  • Recruitment metrics tracking, reporting, and labour market analysis.

Knowledge

  • Recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies
  • Labour market trends and workforce availability within manufacturing sectors
  • Employment legislation and recruitment compliance standards
  • Workforce planning and talent pipeline development
  • Employer branding and candidate experience principles
  • HR processes related to hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical skills related to recruitment metrics and reporting

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role within a manufacturing facility.
  • Frequent collaboration with cross-functional departments.
  • Occasional travel to job fairs, community recruitment events, or educational institutions may be required.
  • Occasional extended hours may be required during high-volume recruitment periods.
