Relevant du directeur associé, Opérations Techniques, le Spécialiste R&D sera responsable de la planification, la conception et l’exécution les essais R&D et tous les tests physiques des produits en développement. Il aura aussi la responsabilité de réaliser les lots d’ingénierie en collaboration avec l’équipe TT et d’optimiser les produits déjà commercialisés. Il sera amené à rédiger ou réviser les documents techniques requis pour les tests R&D ou les lots d’ingénierie.
Ce que vous ferez au quotidien :
- Préparer les documents techniques tels que les fiches de fabrication et rapports des lots R&D ou d’ingénierie (anglais requis pour la rédaction des rapports et des protocoles) ;
- Participer à la mise au point, à l'échelle du laboratoire, de nouveaux procédés ou des nouvelles formules;
- Préparer des échantillons de nouvelles formules;
- Participer à l’optimisation de procédé de fabrication et/ou de produits finis;
- Exécuter les lots R&D et d’ingénierie en collaboration avec l’équipe TT;
- Exécuter des tests physiques dans le laboratoire R&D.
Vous vous démarquez grâce aux compétences suivantes :
- Bonnes connaissances en chimie des produits naturels est un atout;
- Expérience en développement de produits/ formulation pharmaceutiques ou de santé naturelle;
- Capacité à stimuler l'innovation en développant et en mettant en œuvre de nouvelles procédures;
- Excellentes compétences en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps ;
- Capacité avancée à gérer des projets et à faire preuve de leadership.
Ce que vous apportez :
- Baccalauréat en sciences (chimie, biologie ou biochimie) ;
- Posséder plus de 5 ans dans un des domaines suivants : pharmaceutiques, produits de santé naturelle ou cosmétique.

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Technical Operations, the R&D Specialist will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing R&D trials as well as all physical testing of products under development. He/she will also be responsible for manufacturing engineering batches in collaboration with the Technology Transfer team and optimizing already marketed products. Additionally, he/she will be required to draft or review technical documents necessary for R&D testing or engineering batches.
What you will do daily:
- Prepare technical documents such as manufacturing sheets and reports for R&D or engineering batches;
- Participate in the development of new processes or formulations at the laboratory scale;
- Prepare samples of new formulations;
- Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes and/or finished products;
- Execute R&D and engineering batches in collaboration with the Technology Transfer team;
- Perform physical tests in the R&D laboratory.
Y ou stand out because of the following skills:
- Good knowledge of natural product chemistry is an asset;
- Experience in pharmaceutical or natural health product development/formulation;
- Ability to drive innovation by developing and implementing new procedures;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Advanced project management skills and demonstrated leadership.
What you bring:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a relevant field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas: pharmaceuticals, natural health products, or cosmetics.
