About the role
**Location:**South Surrey – West Coast Gardens
**Hours:**8:30am–5:00pm | 30–40 hoursper week
Pay:$20-22/hr
**Duration:**March–June (possibility to continue into summer season)
About the Role:
The role focuses on assisting customers with bulk landscape materials, operating equipment, processing orders, and ensuring the yard and kiosk operate efficiently.
This is anactive, hands-on roleworking both outdoors and in the retail environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging and greeting customers
-
Assist customers with loadingbulk soil and landscape productsinto vehicles
-
Conductdaily pre-trip inspectionson tractor and forklift equipment
-
Keep machinery and equipmentclean, fueled, and well maintained
-
Deliver landscape materials to homes using amini dump truck
-
Ensure the kiosk isstocked dailyand notify the Retail Manager when inventory is low
-
Follow allhealth and safety regulations
Qualifications**:**
- ValidClass 5 BC Driver’s License
-Clean driver’s abstract
-
Tractor andSDCB forklift experienceconsidered an asset
-
Minimum1 year customer service experience
-
Landscaping knowledge considered an asset
-
Ability to liftupto 50lbsand work in varying outdoor temperatures
-
Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
-
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-
Reliable transportation is recommended as the location is not accessible by bus.
