Position Summary

The Local Finance Representative will assist the General Manager with administrative and accounts receivable/ payable tasks and duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and be comfortable with taking initiative and working with and supporting other team members. The shifts are Monday - Friday and the annual salary range is $50,000 - $55,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
  • Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities
  • Cash reconciliation:
  • POS and wireless Moneris reconciliation
  • Moneris:
  • Manual posting and matching of cash account payments
  • Troubleshooting issues with Moneris terminals
  • Processing account payments
  • Daily bank deposits
  • Time Force administration
  • Including daily review of Time Force, Early Riser Report and drafting documents for Managers
  • Branch level recruitment; including but not limited to pre-screening interviews, reference checks, and interview setup
  • First day onboarding with all new hires:
  • Provide a warm welcome and a great first impression
  • Review new hire package, review employee handbook and staff policies and setting up new hire training onGMS University
  • Update employee communication board
  • Planning of store events (meetings, BBQ’s, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

  • One year or more experience in an administrative environment
  • Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent situations
  • Excellent computer and business organization software proficiency
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail orientated with disciplined work habits
  • A positive can do attitude is essential!
