Exciting Opportunity: Facilities Technician

Working closely with the Asset Care and Facility Projects teams, the Facilities Technician is responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks across the site. This role includes performing basic repairs, inspections, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance activities. Responsibilities extend to some facility infrastructure, processing, and production equipment, and providing support on projects and assisting with facility upgrades as needed

What you’ll be doing:

• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, lighting, doors, HVAC filters, small equipment)
• Monitor building systems and equipment
• Supporting scheduled and emergency maintenance
• Assisting cointractors as needed
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas
• Maintaining records using company software
• Following safety protocols and supporting improvements
• Help manage inventory, tools and parts

What We’re Looking For

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance systems

• 1-5 years of experience in commercial or multi-residential construction

• Skilled with tools; able to perform basic repairs and assist tradespeople

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs; frequent lifting of 10–20 lbs

• Comfortable with standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions

• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract

• High school diploma or equivalent required
