Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated, detail oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team! If you are passionate about coffee and would like to become part of a progressive, fast growing company, we urge you to apply!

What will you do?

  • Assist Quality Assurance Manager in monitoring food safety and quality activities

  • Conduct daily, monthly, and annual audits/inspections

  • Report and document non-conformances

  • Conduct on the line finished product testing

  • Inspect incoming ingredients and monitor critical control point(s) (CCP)

  • Verify food safety and quality records

  • Assist in maintaining and developing food safety and quality program

  • Support Quality Assurance Manager in preparation of third party audits (SQF, Fair for Life, Costco, Organic, Kosher)

  • Participate in various committees

  • Prepare samples for lab testing

Who are you?

  • 1+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role or similar role, (food manufacturing knowledge preferable)

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements

  • Great attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English

  • Computer literate ( Auditing Applications)

  • Organizational skills

  • HACCP, PCQI, SQF certified is desirable

Considerations:

  • Working in a manufacturing environment exposure to: noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations of heat and cold

  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Strong scent of roasted coffee

Nice to haves:

  • First Aid Certification is desirable
