Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Contribute to the preparation of plans, profiles, and detailed drawings for a wide range of projects — from site plans and subdivisions to road reconstructions and water/wastewater facilities.
- Support fieldwork including construction site inspections, topographic surveys, and layout.
- Assist with design calculations for storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermains, and stormwater management facilities.
- Work on preliminary and detailed designs for grading, drainage, and servicing plans.
- Help prepare construction cost estimates, tender documents, and specifications.
- Take on additional opportunities to learn and grow as assigned.
- G license and access
Minimum Qualifications
- Education in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
- Aptitude with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Clear and confident communication skills (oral and written).
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate in a team setting.
- Physical and environmental requirements for this position are available upon request.
Nice-to-Haves (Assets)
- Familiarity with stormwater management practices or low-impact development strategies.
- Experience with Revit software.
- Previous exposure to construction or design-related work.
- Experience in a consulting or multi-disciplinary environment.
