In this role, you will ensure the seamless integration and reliability of financial data systems across internal teams and external partners. You will act as a technical bridge, troubleshooting complex issues, conducting detailed data analysis, and implementing automation to optimize processes. This position requires a strong combination of coding skills, data expertise, and cross-functional project management. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and financial partners to maintain the accuracy, security, and performance of critical financial integrations. Accountabilities
- Become a domain expert in open banking, financial data access, and data aggregation.
- Handle inquiries from internal teams and external partners, conducting detailed investigations and implementing code or configuration changes as needed.
- Engage with financial partners to drive alignment on product usage, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve integration breakages.
- Identify and automate inefficient or manual processes through code, partner agreements, or cross-functional process improvements.
- Conduct complex data analysis to derive insights, assess product performance, and scope partner requirements.
- Build and launch new financial partner integrations using existing engineering tools.
- Design and implement anomaly detection systems to ensure reliable, accurate data flows across partner and internal systems.
Requirements
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical systems through code, documentation, logs, or raw data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience navigating multiple data systems to diagnose and scope issues.
- Comfort with developer tools (e.g., Git) and the ability to make well-scoped code changes.
- Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams to ensure integration reliability.
- A mindset focused on scaling impact, improving processes, and supporting team success.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of payment technologies and banking ecosystems.
- Experience with Presto, Splunk, or other data querying languages.
- Proficiency in HTML, including semantic markup and structure.
