Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Instructor specializing in Accounting and Payroll Administration to join our dynamic educational team. Duties:
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging coursework on accounting principles, payroll processes, and financial management using platforms like LMS (Learning Management System) such as D2L Brightspace.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and online learning sessions that promote active student participation and understanding of complex financial concepts.
- Create instructional materials including presentations, videos, and post-production content to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects while providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Incorporate digital marketing strategies and social media management techniques to promote course offerings and engage with prospective students.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor student progress, course effectiveness, and learning outcomes for curriculum refinement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives aligned with higher education standards in business management, accounting software (such as QuickBooks), and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate or equivalent in Accounting and other related fields.
- At least2 years of work experience in the Accounting field.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), and working with students in adult education settings.
- Proficiency with learning technology platforms such as D2L or other LMS tools.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and copywriting abilities for course content creation.
- Demonstrated skills in project management, curriculum development, video production, and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to analyze data analytics related to student performance and course effectiveness.
- Experience with classroom experience is highly desirable.
