The Swift Current Broncos are seeking an energetic, organized, and passionate individual to join our team as a Game Day & Fan Experience Coordinator

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment and wants to play a key role in creating an outstanding fan experience at Broncos home games. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of all game day activities while ensuring corporate partners, fans, volunteers, and staff receive an exceptional experience.

Position Type Due to the flexible nature of this role, the position may be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications, availability, and fit within the organization. Responsibilities may be adjusted accordingly to align with the successful applicant’s skills and the operational needs of the organization.

Regardless of whether the position is filled on a part-time or full-time basis, Game Day Management, Event Operations, Volunteer Management, and Fan Experience responsibilities will remain core components of the role. The successful candidate must be available to work all Swift Current Broncos home games, including evenings, weekends, and playoff games as required.

Key Responsibilities Given the flexibility of this position and the Broncos’ desire to hire the best candidate available, the successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of the following duties, with the exact scope of the position tailored to their experience, skill set, availability, and the needs of the organization. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Game Day Management & Fan Experience Develop and execute detailed game night scripts and run-of-show documents for all home games. Coordinate and oversee game day entertainment elements, including pre-game activities, intermission promotions, sponsor activations, giveaways, contests, theme nights, and special events. Work closely with the production crew to ensure all game day elements are executed professionally and on schedule. Assist in creating new and innovative fan engagement initiatives that enhance the overall game day experience. Plan and execute promotional nights, theme nights, special events, and fan engagement activities throughout the season. Event Operations Assist with game day setup and post-game teardown. Coordinate arena concourse activities, displays, signage, and promotional areas. Ensure game day materials, prizes, promotional items, and sponsor assets are prepared and available. Support event logistics and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise. Assist with the execution of group outings, birthday parties, hospitality events, suite rentals, and premium fan experiences. Volunteer & Staff Management Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise game day volunteers and event staff, including Ice Crew, Game Day Crew, mascot support staff, and promotional volunteers. Ensure volunteers are properly trained, organized, and prepared for each event. Foster a positive and professional volunteer environment while supporting volunteer development and leadership opportunities. Fan Experience Innovation Continually evaluate and improve the fan experience through new promotions, contests, entertainment features, and customer service initiatives. Research best practices from other sports and entertainment organizations and recommend innovative ideas to enhance the Broncos game day experience. Collaborate with Broncos staff to create memorable experiences that strengthen fan loyalty and community engagement. Sponsorship Fulfillment & Partner Relations Coordinate and execute sponsorship activations, promotions, contests, signage, and digital deliverables in accordance with partnership agreements. Serve as a primary game day liaison for corporate partners and special guests, ensuring sponsors receive exceptional value and service. Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance partner experiences and maximize return on investment. Content Creation & Digital Marketing Capture photo and video content during game days for use across Broncos digital platforms. Assist with social media, digital marketing, and promotional content that supports fan engagement, theme nights, and sponsor fulfillment. Collaborate with Broncos staff to support marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and partner deliverables. Community Relations & Engagement Support community initiatives, school visits, charitable activities, community appearances, and fan engagement opportunities throughout Southwest Saskatchewan. Coordinate community groups participating in game day activities, fundraisers, and special events. Assist with mascot appearances and other community outreach activities as required. General Responsibilities Represent the Swift Current Broncos in a professional and positive manner at all times. Assist with special events, community appearances, and team initiatives as required. Work collaboratively with all Broncos staff to support organizational goals. Prioritize the mission, vision, and values of the Swift Current Broncos in all activities. Perform other duties as assigned in support of game day operations, fan experience, and business operations.

Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Education in Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field is considered an asset. Experience working in sports, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, event management, volunteer coordination, marketing, or customer service. Experience managing volunteers, event staff, or community groups. Experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve efficiency, content creation, marketing, event operations, or business processes is considered an asset. Experience with photography, videography, social media management, and digital content creation is considered an asset. Experience using Canva or similar content creation software is considered an asset. Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital engagement strategies. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is considered an asset.

Compensation Position may be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis depending on the successful candidate. Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and the scope of responsibilities assigned to the role.
