About the role

Ecolab is seeking driven B2B sales professionals to join the Canadian commercial Pest Elimination Solutions Sales team. As a Sales Development Manager you will build & grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses to protect their brand, their facilities, and the health and safety of their employees and customers. You will drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills to target market segments including Food and Beverage Plants, Food Service Facilities, Health Care (acute, and non-acute), Lodging, Manufacturing, Distribution Centres, Educations (Private and Post-Secondary), Property Management, etc. to offer the most effective B2B pest elimination programs in Canada. Partner with our service team, corporate account team, and inter-company partners to implement best practices to solve customer’s pest problems Serve as the key point of contact in a local industry-related organization Territory: This position will be based in Montreal or very close surrounding areas and will require travel throughout Quebec and Eastern Ontario (Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Kingston) to meet with customers and prospects Overnight Travel: About 25% based on business needs Compensation Package: Competitive base salary with bonus potential Fantastic company matched pension plan and Share purchase plan Company car with coverage on gas, maintenance and insurance Benefits with medical, dental, disability coverage from day 1 Cell phone Full training program Education funding Employee Assistance Program Opportunity for growth and advancement Minimum Qualifications: Post secondary education preferred 2-3 years of sales experience preferred with a successful sales track record Bilingual – French/English or Strong French language skills with professional proficiency in English, due to the following reasons: The role posted will be supporting customers who are anglophone or in provinces outside of Quebec Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Learn how scientifically proven protocols help eliminate pests through 3.6 million customer visits annually. This is to replace a vacant position. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms. Total expected compensation is in the range of $90,900 – $113,600. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range.
