About the role
Reporting to the superintendent, human resources, you will be responsible for administering human resources services for the site. Working with human resources (HR), site management and supervisors, you will be responsible for matters regarding employee and labour relations, site recruitment activities, workforce planning and the delivery of human resources and employment benefits programs.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a support for front line leadership through employee coaching and mediation processes
- Ensure access and understanding of corporate HR programs and resources
- Assist in the management of employee performance and attendance
- Encourage the adoption and sharing of best practices in employee relations
Required:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, with a specialization in human resource management
- Five to eight years of relevant work experience in human resources
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
- Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills are required
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- A CPHR designation
- Experience using HR management information systems, specifically Success Factors
