About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate a Snow Plow Truck to service the City of Markham streets (highways not included).
- Must be available to be on call 24/7.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid DZ (or AZ) license, with an acceptable driver’s abstract and CVOR record (which will be reviewed prior to offering employment).
- Previous plow experience is mandatory.
- Committed and dependable, and able to work varying hours, days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
Compensation
- This position includes a daily standby rate, as well as an hourly rate of $32.00/hour for time spent plowing.
