Summary

We are currently seeking a Sales Coordinator for our team in Edmonton. In this role, you are responsible for processing and managing customer orders from receipt to delivery, coordinating shipments, status reporting, and ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. This role will report to the Manager, Sales Coordinators.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Process and acknowledge customer purchase orders in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform Purchasing functions which include order entry into various business systems, order management, expediting, and following-up
  • Creating an exceptional customer experience by managing deliverables from order through to shipment and proactively communicating with customers on order status changes
  • Work with production planners and technicians to coordinate product assembly and testing, processing change-orders and modifications as required
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records
  • Reviewing Terms and Conditions and commercial requirements
  • Continually assess and prioritize workload based on customer requirements
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal partners
  • Communicate and collaborate with Application Specialists, Account Managers, shop personnel and other internal partners to exceed customer expectations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary education, previous experience, or course work related to purchasing, business, finance, logistics, or inside sales preferred
  • Experience with SAP an asset
  • Logical thinker, ability to solve problems, make decisions, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Well-developed organization and administrative skills, detail-oriented, highly accurate
  • Excellent English communication both oral and written
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel an asset
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable
  • Customer-centric mindset, do-what-it-takes approach
  • Customer service or leadership experience an asset (i.e., sales, retail, restaurant, coaching, teaching)
