About the role
The chosen applicant will be responsible for providing day to day servicing and organizational level (O level) maintenance advice on behalf of Lockheed Martin to the RCAF CC130J Hercules maintenance community at 8 Wing Trenton. This position will work directly with the Lockheed Martin Contractor Field Office (CFO) at Trenton.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day servicing and maintenance planning advice to the CC130J Hercules maintenance organization;
- Work closely with CFO maintenance planning and engineering staff to ensure aircraft are positioned appropriately to accomplish planned events;
- Assist CFO maintenance supervisor to monitor and organize embodiment of released Service Bulletins on available aircraft within the CC130J fleet;
- Assist CFO maintenance planning with updating recommended major component replacements and OSI completion schedules;
- Review and update major component log books as required;
- Work closely with CFO Supply and monitor part demands and report any known deficiencies or concerns to CFO management;
- Report aircraft status and maintenance priorities to CFO management;
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor; and
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
What you bring to the role
- Minimum high school diploma
- A graduate of recognized aircraft maintenance program from an accredited college in a related disciple, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience with the CC130 Hercules;
- Preferred - completed C130J Hercules type course or suitable equivalent experience.
- Understanding and wide application of servicing and O level maintenance tasks and planning as they apply to the CC130J fleet;
- Understanding of the CC130J Hercules approved maintenance program;
- Basic knowledge of aircraft systems, including, but not limited to, power plants, flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, environmental, basic structures, safety systems, electrical generation and distribution and avionics.
- Experience as an Aircraft Maintenance planner/supervisor is highly desirable.
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting technical documentation such as technical manuals, drawings and technical data packages, engineering dispositions and instructions and associated data.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
- Ability to work shift work as required.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong ability to apply long term strategic planning principles.

Salary Range
$82,000 - $107,500
