Senior FP&A Lead (Contract) 3–4 Month Contract ASAP Start Vancouver, BC
The Role Our client, a leading national organization focused on driving economic growth through strategic partnerships and long-term planning initiatives, is seeking a Senior FP&A Lead to provide leadership and oversight during a critical budgeting cycle.
You Will Lead the organization's 2027 budgeting process, including development of the Notional Budget, departmental budgets, and five-year financial plan. Consolidate budgets across multiple business units and provide analysis, modelling, and recommendations to support decision-making. Partner with Finance and operational leaders to ensure budget accuracy, alignment, and timely completion of deliverables. Prepare executive and Board-level financial presentations and reporting materials. Support the financial components of the Corporate Plan, including forecasting, strategic initiative costing, and risk assessments. Serve as the financial coordination lead for a major program portfolio, overseeing reporting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking. Identify opportunities to improve budgeting tools, processes, governance, and overall stakeholder experience.
What We're Looking For 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience preparing materials for senior leadership and Board audiences. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with planning/ERP systems CPA, CFA, or equivalent designation preferred.
