What we are looking for
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join Trapeze Mobility on Demand. You will be responsible for driving and validating software quality as a member of a cross-functional and dynamic organization. The right candidate will have an “ownership” mentality, unmatched attention to detail, and a dedication to high-performing software.
Responsibilities
- Test and validate development tasks during the sprint cycle
- Participate in defect reviews
- Design and develop product specific test cases
- Setup and maintain test data and test environments
- Help design, implement and review test scripts
- Work with other team members to identify test and coverage plans
- Collaborate with product owners and developers on defining quality test plans
- Design and develop automation test cases
- Coordinate with other technical teams in identifying test coverage requirements
- Execute integration and regression testing as required
- Create and maintain documentation
Key Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented with a focus on Quality Assurance
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Familiarity with a programming languages such as C#, C++. JavaScript
- Commitment to continuous learning with a focus on QA test automation
- Ability to clearly articulate issues and collaborate with team members
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of Agile software development test practices
- Experience in functional and unit testing
- Familiarity with HTML 5, CSS 3 technologies
- Hands-on experience testing web, mobile and desktop applications
- Experience in defining test plans, test cases and execution plans
- Experience in testing APIs
- Experience testing/leveraging cloud technologies
- Experience with Accessibility (WCAG) testing
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, Appium, Playwright, JMeter, ReadyAPI, TestComplete
Education/Experience
- BS in Computer Science or related discipline
- 4+ year experience in a software testing role or related discipline
