Your job

• Realize the full performance potential of server hardware.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to keep the organization ahead of the competition.

• Monitor and observe the entire technology stack to maintain optimal operations.
• Actively participate in team discussions to define and align daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

Your team

Within the Financial Markets sector, you are part of a team of about 70 colleagues and report to the Director of Low Latency Trading Platforms. Our team stands out for its close collaboration and shared expertise to support a complete technology stack. Based in Toronto, this position offers flexibility and quality of life, with a hybrid work environment and adaptable working hours.

Prerequisites

• Experience of at least 5 years in system administration.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (a master’s degree is an asset).
• Advanced experience with Linux, ideally RedHat, with RHCSA or RHCE certification.
• Experience in managing and maintaining server hardware (HPE, Dell, or custom-built servers).
• Knowledge of FPGA PCIe hardware (an asset).
• Knowledge of financial markets and/or trading technologies (an asset).
