About the role

MUIR Hotel : Room Attendant Located in the absolute centre of downtown in the vibrant Halifax waterfront, in the heart of the Queen’s Marque district, MUIR offers elevated hospitality inspired by the spirit, culture and natural beauty of Nova Scotia. If you are passionate about a career in hospitality and want to join a team that shares this common goal, the MUIR is presently seeking a Room Attendant Shifts: Vary in their start and end time and can change due to the needs of our guests. A mixture of days, evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts. What you will be doing as a Room Attendant: Clean all assigned guestrooms to the Muir standard. This includes making beds, change sheets, vacuuming, cleaning, folding, dusting, and polishing guest rooms; Take initiative to add a personalized experience for the guest; Take ownership of guests’ privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service; Such other similar or related duties may be required from time to time. Your experience and skills include: A motivated, high performance team player; Ability to anticipate guest needs, being professional and welcoming; Organized with great attention to detail; Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Must be able to make repeated and continued movements of the shoulders, elbows, and hands (below waist and overhead movement); Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
