As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the surveying team in carrying out layout, dimensional checks, and data collection within the precast yard. What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with layout tasks including formwork, embeds, rebar, and casting beds.
- Support the Senior Surveyor with setting up and maintaining control points.
- Help operate total stations, GPS units, and levels under supervision.
- Record field data, take measurements, and help prepare basic as-built reports.
- Interpret shop drawings and translate them into field layout.
- Follow safety protocols and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain and care for surveying tools and equipment.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or certificate in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a construction or yard-based environment.
- Knowledge of surveying equipment and CAD software is an asset.
- Willingness to learn, take directions, and work in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop professionally.
