About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading incoming deliveries and verifying material against packing slips
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Move material to designated storage areas and ensure they are properly put away
Stockroom Organization
- Keep stockroom organized , clean ,and free of clutter
- Monitor inventory levels and advise when supplies need to be replenished
Inventory Control
- Help maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist in cycle counts
- Ensure all materials are properly identified and easily accessible
- Periodically help in the crating dept
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse , stockroom , or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50lbs safely
- Forklift experience an asset (Training can be Provided )
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable , punctual , and able to work well independently or as a part of a team
- Basic understanding of inventory practices and safety procedures
