Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Senior Finance/ERP Solutions lead with deep expertise in designing, optimizing, and delivery enterprise-grade Finance solutions within an ERP ecosystem. You’ll bridge the gap between complex operations and strategic decision-making, transforming our ERP ecosystem into a high-performance engine for growth. This role is ideal for a highly capable professional who can operate at both the strategic and hands-on levels – someone who excels in functional solutioning, business analysis, technical governance, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis

  • Lead requirements workshops with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders, capturing business needs and translating them into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of existing systems and processes to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop high-quality BRDs, functional design documents (FDDs), and technical specifications (TSDs) and process models.
  • Provide expert guidance on finance process optimization, controls, and future-state capabilities.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Architect and implement robust, scalable Finance solutions within the ERP system (GL, AP, AR, etc.)
  • Design and optimize integration flows across operations, sales, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure strong adherence to governance, architecture standards, and ERP best practices across all teams and vendor partners.

Technical Leadership

  • Stay current with ERP roadmaps, platform capabilities, and industry trends to inform solution strategy.
  • Champion excellence in performance, security, data integrity, and ITGC compliance.
  • Mentor support stakeholders in understanding system capabilities and solution impacts.
  • Oversee solution quality and ensure consistency across modules and integrations.

Strategic Contribution

  • Advise leadership on future-state architectures, emerging technologies, and opportunities for platform innovation.
  • Contribute insights that influence planning, budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise reporting strategies.
  • Translate business direction – particularly within manufacturing, distribution, and sales environments – into a cohesive finance systems roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Extensive track record of leading enterprise-grade Finance transformations. You have successfully navigated multiple full-cycle ERP implementations and understand the 'why' behind the 'how'. (JD Edwards experience preferred)
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of core Finance modules and end-to-end finance processes
  • Proven success leading cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment.
  • ERP certifications, as well as familiarity with Hyperion, Databricks, and PowerBI are a strong assets.

Preferred Attributes

  • Background in manufacturing, consumer goods, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives when the roadmap isn't yet written. You enjoy the challenge of distilling complex business needs into elegant, scalable technical solutions

Compensation: Budgeted Range – $101,355.00 -131,165.00 the budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
