Job Description
You will join a large and dynamic SAP Competence Center and play a key role in designing, developing and implementing solutions that support complex business requirements across global operations.
Working closely with SAP Business Analysts, functional teams and technical stakeholders, you will analyze requirements, build robust SAP developments, contribute to project activities and ensure the long‑term reliability and performance of SAP applications.
Your main responsibilities include:
Analyzing business requirements together with SAP Business Analysts and translating them into technical SAP solutions Designing, developing, documenting and maintaining SAP programs and enhancements Evaluating change requests, proposing technical designs and implementing scalable solutions Supporting Fit/Gap analysis, data migration activities and go‑live phases within SAP projects Creating and maintaining functional and technical specifications, including test cases Collaborating closely with Business Analysts and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment between functional needs and technical delivery Ensuring adherence to SAP development best practices, performance standards and code quality guidelines
Profile
The ideal candidate brings:
Extensive experience as an SAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP and modern SAP development frameworks Deep understanding of SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, QM and experience with SAP Solution Manager Strong ability to translate functional requirements into robust, scalable and maintainable technical solutions Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA development, CDS views, OData services and RESTful programming Experience building Fiori applications end‑to‑end and applying best practices for modern SAP UX Solid knowledge of integration technologies including IDocs, ALE, RFC and API‑based communication A structured, analytical and solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within technical and functional teams A passion for development, continuous learning and delivering high‑quality solutions in an international environment
Professional Requirements
Required skills and experience:
10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development across multiple modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, QM) Strong experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA In‑depth knowledge of ABAP, Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPScripts and performance‑optimized coding Expertise in IDocs, ALE, SQL and JavaScript Strong experience with CDS views, OData services and SAP RESTful ABAP programming Ability to build Fiori applications from end to end Experience with backend service creation and exposure to external applications Familiarity with ATC, code quality standards and Fiori‑based modernization of legacy developments Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is an advantage (APIs, Cloud Events, BAS, Fiori Elements, Build) Knowledge of extensibility best practices in S/4HANA Cloud and use of Custom Business Objects Experience with low‑code platforms (Neptune, Mendix) and basic Java knowledge Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑oriented mindset University degree in Information Technology, Information Management or equivalent
Languages
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
