About your team
The Talent Services Team works in partnership with our Resourcing and Learning & Development teams to support operational activity globally. Approximately 2000 vacancies are filled each year and the role of Candidate Engagement Coordinator is critical in assisting the Resourcing team to deliver a high level of service to the wider business.
About your role
This position is responsible for enhancing the candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process for all open positions up to and including Director-level hires covered by our Experienced Hires team. You will work closely with our Resourcing team and their client groups, focussing on maintaining engagement with candidates, ensuring they feel supported and informed from interview scheduling through to their first day with the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview Scheduling: Coordinate interview times and venues across multiple diaries and time zones, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
- Candidate Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, offering updates and guidance throughout the recruitment process to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
- Post Offer Management: Facilitate the transition from offer acceptance to onboarding, providing candidates with clear and timely information to ensure they feel valued and supported. Engaging with hiring managers during the post offer process, providing timely updates on general queries around contract signing, background vetting and all other queries as they arise.
- Onboarding Support: Serve as a liaison between candidates and various internal teams such as technology, background vetting, and recruitment, addressing complex queries to ensure candidates have a smooth onboarding process.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accuracy within the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) by updating and managing candidate details efficiently.
- Building Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with hiring managers, senior stakeholders, and external recruitment agencies to facilitate effective candidate engagement. Support with arranging candidate events, offer meetings and agency briefings.
- Ad-hoc Project Assignments: Participate in projects related to candidate engagement and recruitment activities, such as system testing and automation activity. Ad hoc support to our AsiaPacific team where required.
About you
- Experience in a fast-paced Financial Services or Professional Services environment.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, business stakeholders, and HR resource groups.
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of work within tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and diary management using Outlook.
- Previous experience in complex diary management, scheduling interviews, meetings, or travel arrangements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and approachable manner.
This role serves as a bridge between candidates and the teams supporting their recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
