YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you will be part of the Mine Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Develop, execute and maintain digital transformation strategy aligned with the organizations strategic goals. Coordinate, guide, and support the implementation of mining operational technology projects;
  • Own and maintain the site’s Technology Roadmap, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.
  • Oversee the selection, deployment and integration of systems and technologies. Act as the site custodian and facilitator for mining technology systems and digital initiatives.
  • Ensure effective integration, adoption, and sustained performance of technology solutions across site operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through technology implementations and process changes.
  • Update the site roadmap to align objectives with higher-level business priorities.
  • Analyze data to provide key insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain best practices in business performance by monitoring KPIs and driving improvement targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal business partners supporting digital transformation.
  • Stakeholder engagement: identify and engage stakeholders to ensure their needs are understood and addressed
  • Lead training, support, and continuous improvement of the Fleet Management System (FMS).
  • Provide leadership and hands-on support for mining-related projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Organize and assign objectives and targets for cross-functional team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (engineering, finance, administration), Master’s degree preferred;
  • 7+ years in Continuous Improvement roles within a mining environment;
  • Experience in change management, strategic planning, and risk management;
  • Proficient in costing, budgeting, and working in multicultural environments;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Skilled negotiator and mediator with high emotional intelligence;
  • Initiates and supports organizational change;
  • Manages time and priorities effectively to achieve business objectives;
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
