JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of construction materials across Southern Ontario, primarily within the GTA. This role includes completing and accurately recording all trip inspections, as well as ensuring full compliance with all required documentation and regulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate Roll-Off trucks and tractor trailers to transport goods and materials safely to designated locations
-
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
-
Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safe handling techniques
-
Plan and execute efficient routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
-
Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
-
Apply safety protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment damage
-
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries
-
Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns promptly
-
Deliver materials on time while ensuring quality and care
-
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries
-
Provide professional, courteous, and customer-focused service
-
Represent the company positively in all customer and public interactions
-
Perform routine vehicle checks, including fluids, tires, and minor maintenance tasks
-
Identify and report mechanical issues to ensure timely repairs
-
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness
-
Collaborate with dispatch and team members to support efficient operations
-
Share updates and coordinate tasks effectively with coworkers
-
Complete additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Driving & Equipment Operation
-
Experience operating Roll-Off and Tractor Trailer trucks
-
Machinery hauling experience
-
Knowledge of load securement
Transportation & Logistics
-
Experience picking up disposal bins and hauling construction debris and scrap metal
-
Strong knowledge of routes throughout the GTA
-
Ability to follow instructions effectively
Licensing & Compliance
-
Valid AZ Driver’s License with a clean abstract
-
Current and valid CVOR
Safety & Work Ethic

Highly safety-conscious

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
-
Flexible to work nights, weekends, and in all weather conditions

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
