Job Description-
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to join our banking team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience gathering business requirements, analyzing lending workflows, and supporting the implementation or enhancement of LOS platforms. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of consumer, commercial, or mortgage lending processes and work effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Loan Origination System (LOS) initiatives. Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases. Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze current lending processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams. Facilitate requirement workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT sessions. Support system integration efforts involving LOS, underwriting, credit bureaus, document management, CRM, and core banking systems. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and production validation. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal lending policies. Assist with change management, documentation, and end-user training.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Banking or Financial Services. 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
Strong understanding of the end-to-end loan origination lifecycle, including
Loan application Credit evaluation Underwriting Approval workflows Loan documentation Closing and funding Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflow diagrams, and process documentation. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and SQL for data validation.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
