The salary range for this position is CAD $25.26/Hr. - CAD $25.26/Hr.
Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to play a key role in keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a Stores & Laundry Attendant to help manage essential supplies and laundry services that support our operations every day.
In this role, you’ll handle shipping and receiving, unpack and check goods, and make sure supplies are stored and distributed where they’re needed. You’ll also take care of laundry services—collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens with care. Keeping shelves stocked, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment and work areas are clean and safe will be part of your daily routine.
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Ability to organize work.

Your Day to Day
- Receives, inspects, unpacks, counts and checks received goods against purchase orders. Enters information, prints receiving reports and forwards to Accounts Payable.
- Identifies receiving incorrect and damaged goods and contacts supplier. Obtains returned goods memo from Purchasing and packs damaged goods for return. Completes appropriate documentation.
- Coordinates distribution function, prioritizing the delivery of good and equipment to end users and ensuring goods are delivered to appropriate destination.
- Stocks shelves and ensures appropriate stock rotation.
- Transfers clean linen from clean linen carts to hospital carts according to pre-determined quantities and quotas. Distributes clean linen and laundry to user areas.
- Collects, sorts and records soiled linen and laundry. Delivers soiled linen & laundry to laundry room.
- Loads and unloads non-domestic washers and dryers, selects wash cycles, sets temperature and switches machine on and off.
- Folds and sorts and irons dry laundry. Prints clothing labels and attaches to personal laundry items.
- Maintains linen and laundry supplies such as mops, tea towels, and clean-up rags for deliver to various areas, by requisitioning supplies, restocking, folding, and packing.
- Cleans and maintains related equipment and designated areas. Checks machines regularly and notifies supervisor of equipment requiring maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
