In-Home Sales Consultant (Fencing)
Everlast Vinyl Fencing****Edmonton & Area | Full-Time
Everlast Vinyl Fencing is growing, and we’re looking for a personable, organized, and driven In-Home Sales Consultant to join our team.This role is primarily focused on meeting homeowners who have already reached out to us, have a budget in mind, and are actively evaluating their options. That said, successful reps also take initiative during downtime by prospecting, following up on past leads, or stopping in with potential commercial or residential clients when opportunities present themselves.
Your job is to show up prepared, build trust, measure accurately, and guide customers confidently through their fencing decision while setting our operations team up for success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Visiting homeowners for pre-qualified, scheduled appointments
- Measuring fence lines and reviewing site conditions
- Conducting on-site consultations and estimates
- Helping customers choose the right layout, style, gates, and scope for their property
- Clearly explaining pricing, timelines, and next steps
- Following up with clients by phone, text, and email, including evenings when purchasing decisions are being made
- Creating a clear, complete project handoff file that allows the operations team to deliver exactly what was sold
- Accurate measurements and layouts
- Gate locations and swing directions
- Special site conditions, access notes, or client requests
- Acting as a point of support when changes or wrinkles arise during installation, such as:
- Adding or relocating gates
- Adjusting fence lines due to site conditions
- Confirming scope changes and pricing with the client
- Using downtime between appointments to support sales efforts through follow-ups, prospecting, or outbound outreach
- Maintaining organized notes, documentation, and follow-ups in our systems
- Collaborating effectively with customer service, operations, and installation teams to ensure a smooth client experience
Who This Role Is For

Experience & Requirements
- Proven in-person sales experience is required
- Experience in fencing or construction is not required. We will train the product side
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable driving throughout the city daily
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using basic software, CRM tools, and digital measurements

Mosaic was founded in 2016 in a storage shed in West Edmonton. From small and humble beginnings with just two vans and no running water, the organization has grown to a staff of over 80, dozens of vehicles, and franchisees from coast to coast.
Mosaic has always grown with it's customers needs first - every year we survey our clients asking about what additional services they require around their home, and how we can expand our relationship with them. It's our job to make their buying experience simple, convenient, and full of value from beginning to end.
