What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Associate Director, Groundside Transportation Business Planning & Performance, this role will lead the Performance and Growth Business Unit to maximize revenue and profitability. You will oversee P&L management, drive commercial growth and customer experience initiatives, conduct market research, and manage data analysis to optimize strategies. You will develop and implement promotional strategies and pricing initiatives to drive customer acquisition and increase usage of on-airport parking services. You will collaborate with Operations, Finance, Airport Development & Technical Services and Stakeholder Relations to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will manage the outsourced Business Intelligence team, driving insights and shaping commercial roadmaps for services like Public Parking, Car Rentals, Taxis, and Transportation Network Companies. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in maximizing profitability from Non-Aeronautical Revenues associated with Commercial Groundside Transportation.

As Manager, Performance and Growth, you will:

  • Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks for parking and ground transportation initiatives.
  • Analyze KPIs, best practices, passenger data, occupancy rates, pricing trends, mode shift/cannibalization or impacts from new disruptors and service levels to identify opportunities for commercial improvement.
  • Recommend changes to business models in response to insights.
  • Leverage enhanced capabilities in data analytics to forecast demand and address strategic and operational business opportunities, including pricing models; manage dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, competition, and customer segments.
  • Champion growth initiatives using the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion).
  • Lead and develop monthly, quarterly and annual business performance reviews including the interpretation of insights and complex data sets; provide actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operations to align performance goals with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the Business Intelligence or Analytics team and manage performance dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Act as the "data translator" to apply analytics to business challenges and develop AI solutions when feasible.
  • Represent the business and provide counsel on enterprise data initiatives including membership on the data council.
  • Lead revenue management strategies across airport parking, car rentals, commercial shuttles and other modes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and execute financial plans to achieve P&L targets, managing ~$250M in annual revenue.
  • Manage the Revenue and O&M Budget to ensure alignment with financial performance.
  • Develop and execute Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders and vendors, and work with operations to ensure performance targets and service levels are met.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer service to communicate pricing changes, promotions, and service offerings.
  • Over time, build and develop diverse, multi-skilled teams aligned with the business vision.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated Profit and Loss (P&L) management.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in developing and executing business strategies and plans, particularly those that required integration with customer experience strategies, and coordination, collaboration and project management across the organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • 3+ years managing or leading teams within a business analytics or revenue management capacity.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with revenue management software, CRM tools, and/or business intelligence systems.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a clear vision that aligns with business goals and drives long-term success.
  • Ability to execute high-level program planning and think strategically.
  • Hard and soft skills of data analytics; Understanding of how to incorporate analytics into the business.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with cross functional teams, customers and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, and manage multiple, competing deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Point, Excel and Word.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, economics, finance or related field.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
